Please note that tickets must be punched immediately after landing, rather than wait for the next stop, as we do. The prices of tickets in various cities are different, and tickets are not valid from one city to another. You can buy tickets: one-time (day and night), one-day, hour, week, group one day, as well as on weekends and holidays. For each bulky luggage bought a ticket. A ticket for a dog is the same as for the luggage.

Passage or movement of the baggage without a valid ticket is punishable by a high fine.

Taxis

In Poland taxis work in each city. The machines are waiting for passengers at special sites, for example, in railway stations, airports, in hotels. Each car is marked “Taxi”, and listed the phone number of the company.

It’s very convenient to order a taxi by telephone at the address indicated. Taxi service is free. You can order a car or on the number 919 (one for the whole of Poland), or to find a number of other companies - they are published in major newspapers and advertising leaflets. When ordering you need to call home address, where you’ll wait for the car, and your phone number (if thay can re-call you). In large cities taxis arrive in 5-10 minutes. At weekends, out of town and from 22 pm to 6 am fare increases. Payment for travel between cities agreed with the driver in each case.

Attention! If you have just arrived in town - do not use the services of drivers, which are suitable for you in the hall of the airport. Do not sit in the taxi, facing no special parking places (don’tindicate by signs “Taxis”).

Gratuity

Bars and Restaurants

In bars, cafes, restaurants, in a word everywhere when you served the waiters are usually taken to tip. The amount is not clearly defined, and are determined by the latest figures account. For example, if a glass of beer costs 4,50 zl, then give the waiter a coin in 5 zl, don’t wait for delivery.

If your company has a dinner at a restaurant, and the amount in the bill, for example, is 62,40 zl, and to give 7,60 zl for tea (up to round numbers) do not want, then giving the paper notes 70 zl, can say: «Let is 65». And the waiter will bring you to surrender 5 zl.

In general, no one forces you to rush your hard work, so if you do not want to overpay, then keep at a small amount of coins. Then, without prejudice to its own image, you can rummage in your pocket, and show that you have complete small changes, and count the exact position of the sum.

Remember that the waiters get to their work salaries, and tips is a reward for good service. And if I did not get tips in my work from the customers, why I have to pay here? :-)

Taxis

This seems incredible, but the tips are not given taxi drivers in Poland!
