Travel Information on Los Angeles

The University of Southern California (USC), founded in the late 19th century by members of the Methodist Episcopal Conference, is one of the finest private universities in the nation. With an enrollment of more than 28,000 undergraduate, graduate and professional students, USC has grown into an international center of learning, serving the world, Los Angeles and its local community.

The University Park Campus is located on 155 acres and is home to USC’s College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School and 16 professional schools. The campus is bordered to the south by Exposition Park, one of the Los Angeles’ major cultural hubs encompassing the Rose Garden, the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the African-American Museum and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena.

Location: 3 miles south of downtown Los Angeles

Hours: Campus tours are offered daily from 10am-3pm
