GENERAL WEDDING REQUIREMENT

What Civil Ceremony have to prepare prior to the wedding :

For the Notice of Intention to Marry you have to submit the following documents for both partners to Civil Registry Office (Show the original and present a photocopy) such as:

Certificate of the religious marriage
Passport for foreign citizens, or KTP (Identity card) for Indonesian citizens
Certified birth certificate
Certified divorce decree (absolute) or death certificates regarding the termination of all previous marriages
Passport photos 6 pieces size 4X6 cm of couple
Letter of No Impediment to Marriage issued by your Consular Representative for Bali or Indonesia.
Two witnesses over the age of 18 are required. They must show the originals and present photocopies of their passport if they are foreign citizens and KTP (Identity Card if they are Indonesian Citizens.

What Christian –Protestant couple have to prepare prior to the wedding :

Photocopy passport of couple
Photocopy of divorce or death certificate of former spouse if applicable
Letter of No Impediment to marriage issued by your Consular representative in Bali
Copy passport of 2 (two) witnesses
Passport photos 6 pieces size 4X6 cm of couple (It can be arrange here once your arrive)
Copy of birth certificate of couple

What Christian – Catholic couple have to prepare prior to the wedding :

Baptism Certificate of couple
Copy passport of couple
Liber Status (Single status) from Parish Priest on your country
Original – Letter of Delegation issued by the Parish Priest or other Church Official – addressed to Catholic Church in Bali have declaring that own Parish Priest has no objection to your marriage being performed blessing by a Priest of Catholic Church in Bali.
Original- Letter of freedom to get marry issued by Parish Priest Church Official
Original – Prenuptial Certificate and Prenuptial Course from your Parish Priest or other Church Official
Certificate of Divorce or Death Certificate if applicable
Copy Passport of 2(two) witnesses
Passport photo 6 pieces size 4x6 cm of couple

Letter of No Impediment to marriage issued by your Consular representative in Bali

What Moslem couples have to prepare prior to the wedding:

Copy passport of couple
A letter legalized by representative Embassy/Consulate General in Indonesia certifying that the couple have no objection to getting married in Indonesia
Copy of birth Certificate of couple
Pass photo 2x3 (4 pieces) each of couple
Pass photo sized 3x4 (4 pieces) each of couple

A widow/widower must present a copy of the death Certificate of former spouse and if there has been divorce the decree absolute is required

A letter from your Penghulu in your country addressed to Penghulu in Bali has declaring that your Penghulu has no objection to performed and blessing your marriage by Penghulu in Bali.

Wali should be the couple father and if not you should have a letter from your wali ( Taukil Wali )
