Stapleford Park

Stapleford Park lives up to standards of elegance and service rivalled by few hotels in the world. Reflecting several classic periods of architecture from the 14th century to the Edwardian era, the building alone is one of the finest homes in England, set in beautiful countryside in the heart of the gently rolling 'hunting shires'.

Conceived by the first Lord John Gretton as a place for entertaining on a grand scale, the complete refurbishment of Stapleford has established a unique environment dedicated to the total relaxation and comfort of guests. Fifty one individually designed bedrooms and the magnificent reception rooms perfectly complement the friendliness, hospitality and professionalism of the hotel's staff. Particularly noteworthy are the Dining Room, richly ornamented with 17th century Grinling Gibbons carvings and an elaborate ceiling copied from the Palace of Holyrood in Edinburgh. The Grand Hall, probably the finest room of its type in Britain, features murals by Jenny Bell inspired by the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Both rooms are available for private parties and events, and indeed the entire house and gardens can be taken on an exclusive basis.

Set in gardens originally landscaped by Capability Brown, Stapleford Park offers an atmosphere of matchless tranquility and beauty with riding, golf, and shooting on site. The Carnegie Clarins Spa is a fully-equipped health and beauty centre, with a 22 metre pool, gym, jacuzzi, solarium, and beauty therapy rooms.
