Cotswold House Hotel and Restaurant

A high street wide enough to allow flocks of sheep to be driven to market and architecture ranging from weavers' cottages to the grand residences of merchants reveal Chipping Campden's historic association with the wool trade. At its heart stands the fine 17th Century building of the Cotswold House Hotel & Restaurant, with its impressively colonnaded main door facing directly out onto the town square.

Fifteen individually designed and furnished rooms, each with its own theme reflected in furniture and objets d'art collected from throughout the world, create the perfect mood for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owners believe that the heart and soul of a fine hotel is its kitchen, and the Cotswold House is blessed with a team whose culinary skills are acclaimed for the quality of their cuisine and service. In The Garden Room Restaurant, overlooking the delightful walled gardens, guests select from an imaginative menu complemented by an interesting and unusual list of over 100 wines. Lighter meals, though with the emphasis still firmly on quality and variety, are also available in the Brasserie, where breakfast and afternoon tea can also be taken.

Chipping Campden is a charming town of quiet lanes and hidden alleyways, within which can be found a fascinating variety of intriguing shops and historic features. Nestling in the folds of the Cotswold hills, guests can enjoy fishing, golf, and riding in this most essentially English of landscapes.
