The Master Builder's House Hotel

Formerly the home of master shipbuilder Henry Adams, builder of Nelson's favourite ship The Agamemnon, The Master Builder's House Hotel is set in a magnificent location on the Beaulieu River in the New Forest village of Bucklers Hard.

The hotel has recently been refurbished to offer 25 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, including six Superior Rooms all with views of the River and village. All rooms are individually designed in a traditional style linked to a maritime theme. There is also The Duke's Bath House, a one bedroom cottage situated on the banks of the river which sleeps four and can be let either as self catering or fully serviced. The Riverview Restaurant and adjoining terrace, both overlooking the hotel's private garden and the river, offer a delightful place to enjoy classical cuisine using local produce at lunch or dinner. The Yachtsman's Bar and Galley fronts the village and offers an informal alternative. Food and drink is served seven days a week. The Sir Francis Chichester Room, capable of accommodating meetings and conferences of up to 50 persons, is an ideal venue for private meetings, lunches or dinners.

With the celebrated and ancient beauty of the New Forest on its doorstep, The Master Builder is also at the heart of England's most famous yachting waters. The Master George, a Grand Banks 36-foot motor yacht is available for charter in and around the Solent.
