Barton Creek Cellarsis a small winery near Breckenridge with a tasting room close to the shores of Lake Dillon (on the way to Breckenridge). It markets its wines under the Barton Creek Cellars and Breckenridge Winery labels. Wines produced include Syrah, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is open to visitors May through September by appointment.
Nordic Sleigh Ride, 970-453-2005. The rides include dinner and a show at a simulated 1860’s mining camp. Fun for all ages.
Country Boy Mine, 0542 French Gulch Rd., offers guided hard hat mountain mine tours. Lots of original 1800’s mining equipment in place for your examination.
Breckenridge Golf Club, 200 Club House Dr., 970-4539104, is the only municipal golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Blue River Anglers, 209 N Main St., 888-453-9171, is Summit County’s premier fly fishing shop. Guide services are available.
Nordic Ski Center, 1200 Ski Hill Rd., 970-463-6855, provide 32Km of trails through a spruce forest and open meadows.
