Sevierville, located in the beautiful valley of the Forks of the Little Pigeon River, the eighth oldest town in Tennessee. It was founded in 1795 and named for John Sevier, the first governor of Tennessee. Sevierville has over 2,200 rooms, including secluded mountain cabins, modern condos, luxury hotels, moderate family motels, campgrounds, and RV parks. Sevier County provides lodging for 63,000 people.

 

Home of the Tennessee Smokies Class AA Baseball Team. The season runs April to September. Sevierville is a shopper's paradise. Sevierville offers two challenging golf courses.

Sevierville is near beautiful Douglas Lake with excellent bass and crappie fishing - boat rentals available. Sevierville is very proud of its downtown and historic town square. Sevierville's 105-year-old courthouse located in the heart of downtown is an excellent example of Victorian architecture.
