St.Dominic's Market

The oldest event of that kind in Poland.
Its origins date back to XIII century.
Nowadays this trade even is accompanied by plenty of concerts, performances and shows.
This year the Market will take place between July 29 and August 20.

Baltic Sail

It is an international sailing event that takes place in many Baltic harbours like Nörrköping, Helsingborg and also Gdansk.

Highlanders in Zakopane

International Highlanders Folklore Festival in Zakopane - the biggest event of this kind in Poland, collecting performers from all over the world, an absolutely unique, dynamic and genuine meeting of cultures, languages and people.
This year's edition will take place between 18 and 26 august.

Chopin in Duszniki Zdroj

The International Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdroj is the oldest music festival that has been taking place yearly for 60 years.
From 4 till 12 August the best Polish and international pianists will perform in the beautiful Chopin Manor.

Viking festival

Viking festival on Wolin Island is an event popularising Viking and early Slavic cultures.

TOURIST FAIRS IN THE FALL

MUSIC AT MÄLAREN
Newsly established Musik vid Mälaren is a one of the kind festivals in Scandinavia.
Its major purpose is to popularise classical music, especially among the youngsters.
The main arena of the event which will take place August 10-13 in Västerås will be Västerås concert hall.
The Wroclaw Philharmonic and Wojciech Kilar, one of the most renowned composers from Poland will perform during the festival along with Swedish and international stars of classical music.

A TASTE OF POLAND IN SURAHAMMARS HERRGÅRD

Polish Tourist Organization has opened a safety telephone line for all foreigners traveling in Poland from July till September.
Call 0 800 200 300 from a landline and 0 608 599 999 from a mobile phone to get help in English, German and Russian.
Apart from the safety telephone, in case of emergency tourist are welcome to call 112.


SKATING CHAMPIONS IN POLAND
ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2007 will take place in Warsaw between 22 and 27 January next year. Polish capital will be hosting competitors and fans of the discipline for the second time in history, after 99 years! The tournaments will be taking place at TORWAR I and TORWAR II, one of the biggest event and spots halls in Warsaw.
